"The True Friend"

A Friend, A Friend, the very best;
You talk, you laugh, you play.
But will this friendship stand the test
Of life’s storms and clouds of gray?
And though you pledged to be friends forever,
Will it truly be an everlasting endeavor?
 
Earthly friends will come and go.
But there is One Who will always endure.
Even through the high’s and low’s.
And while friends here are fun for sure;
None can be as faithful as He.
For He will always be there, guarantee.
 
I hope I have made my message loud and clear;
O do make Jesus your Friend today!
Ask Him with a heart sincere;
Please do it now, without delay.
Never will you regret this decision,
The day you become—A Christian.
