Dear Young Ladies,
I have found that exercise helps a lot! I especially like doing it around the house, like…doing just ten jumping jacks. Or sometimes I have races with my siblings. That’s pretty fun!
I also like running in the backyard with my dogs. You could also make a chart for yourself.
And one thing that helped me get into the routine of exercising is to only do a little bit one day, then do more and more each day so that you get better.
Also make up some stuff and mix it in with other exercises, and then have some fun with naming them weird stuff like “Hippopotamus Jump,” or something like that. Well, I hope you find my tips useful.

When looking for jewels,
You must look high and low,
Here and there, and back again.
If you don’t find one,
Something must have gone wrong.
For there are jewels, everywhere,
High and low, here and there.
And even more when you go back again.
Every person is a jewel-
A precious jewel,
Their heart is a jewel,
Their soul is a treasure,
Their presence is worth more
Than a thousand pieces of gold.
And their love is worth more
Than everything good in the world.
So treasure them now,
For someday they may not be there
To love and make you happy.

When I saw that this issue addressed the topic “Discerning the Will of God,” I immediately thought of a message that my pastor preached on “The Will of God.” I used the notes taken from his sermon as a springboard for this article.

“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2
“And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.” Ezekiel 34:2

Cooking—what a subject! It’s a word that brings to mind thoughts of steaming, cinnamony, hot Apple pie or a cheese-loaded, pepperoni-smothered, homemade pizza just out of the oven! It might also bring to mind some flops with less desirable smells and tastes. Now I don’t know about you, but I really like to cook and the Lord has blessed me with a Mom and Grandma that love to cook too. And of course as with anyone who cooks or bakes, I have made many embarrassing and inedible dishes, of some I will relate to you here.
