by Tiffany S. from Virtuous Daughters, May 2012~Volume 12, Number 2 Someday, if the Lord should will, I’d like to be a keeper of my own home.... ...I’d like to have the “job” of wife and mother—a God-fearing virtuous woman who seeks to please and honor her Savior in all she does. I’d like to expand my husband’s vision by pursuing his goals and making those my own. I’d like to raise my children in the fear and admonition of our Lord Jesus Christ by making them strong soldiers for Him. Although this may seem like a lowly occupation—and it is an humble one—I know that should God give me a family, He would want me to pour all my energies and time into making that family strong and equipped for His work. That is the job I’d like to have some day, for that is the job God ordains for all women who have a family. Be it unto me, O Lord, according to Your Word. I am Your handmaid.
