In large bowl, combine 1 1/2 c. flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add water and butter; beat on medium speed for 3 minutes or till smooth. Stir in enough remaining flour to form soft dough. Turn onto well-floured surface; knead until smooth and elastic (4-6 minutes). Cover and let rest 10 minutes. Roll out to 3/8 in. thickness; cut with floured 2 1/2 in. biscuit cutter. Place 2 in. apart on greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise in warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes. Bake at 375 for 11-14 minutes or till lightly browned. Yields 1 dozen Comments are closed.
