Potato Supreme

This is a recipe we have very often at my grandma’s house because it is so good.
We have gotten many recipe requests for this family pass down.

  • 2 lbs. frozen hashbrown potatoes
  • ½ c. melted butter
  • 1 pt. (8 oz.) sour cream
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • ½ c. chopped onions
  • 2 c. grated cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • ¼ tsp. Pepper
  • 2 c. crushed corn flakes
  • ¼ c. melted butter

Defrost potatoes. Combine next 7 ingredients and mix with potatoes. Put in 3-qt. Casserole.  Sauté cornflakes in butter and sprinkle over top.  Cover and bake at 350 for 40 minutes.  Serves 16.

Note: if you are in a rush you can buy onions already chopped in the frozen section, cheddar cheese already grated, and cornflakes already crushed from the grocery store.
