Peanut Butter Drops

This is a recipe that our father has become popular for. :) Everyone raves over his delicious cookies. We hope you try it and it works out!
 

• 2 c. sugar                                       
• ½ c. butter                                      
• ½ c. milk
• 3 c. quick oats
  
• 5 tbsp. peanut butter
• 1 tsp. vanilla

 
Boil together sugar, butter, and milk for 1 minute. Pour while hot over oats and peanut butter. Add vanilla. Mix quickly. Drop by spoonfuls on waxed paper and let stand until firm. This recipe will make 3 dozen small cookies, and they are great to put a few in a Christmas tin as a gift for neighbors.
