Beat butter and shortening at medium speed of an electric mixer until fluffy; gradually add sugars, beating well. Add eggs and vanilla, beating well. Combine oats, flour, soda, salt; add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-14 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wired racks to cool. Yields 6 dozen Comments are closed.
