Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, place softened butter or margarine, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and eggs. Mix with an electric mixer until creamy. In a medium-sized bowl, place flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir with a whisk or eating fork to combine. Add flour mixture to butter mixture. Stir using a wooden spoon. Dough will be stiff. Add chocolate chips. Stir with wooden spoon. Place dough into level 1/4 cup measuring cup. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets 2 inches apart (about 9-12 on a tray). Don’t crowd or they will run into each other. Flatten slightly with a fork. Bake 12-15 minutes or until light brown. Remove from oven. Place cookie tray on a cooling rack for 5-10 minutes. Remove cookies to the cooling rack to finish cooling. Comments are closed.
