Easy Beef Casserole

​This may not seem appealing by the ingredients, but our family really enjoyed it, and the best part for us was that it is very filling, so a little goes a long way.  Served with corn casserole, we all ate to our fill, and still had half of the dish left. (And all of my children liked it—rare thing around here.)



  • 2 lbs. ground beef                                 
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup                
  • 6 slices of American cheese
  • 2 to 3 thinly sliced potatoes
 
Brown beef with onion; drain grease. Put beef in casserole and cover with soup. Then cover with cheese slices, then sliced potatoes. Bake at 350° for 1 hour.
