Chop cranberries in a food processor or chopper. Mix with sugar and refrigerate. Combine marshmallows and pineapple and refrigerate. Leave both mixtures in refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight. Mix both mixtures together with the container of cool whip. Pour into a 9x13 pan and freeze until frozen. Cut into squares and serve. The salad can be frozen in the bowl and served with a spoon, or it can be frozen in muffin tins, if desired. Enjoy!
