Beef-Vegetable Soup

from Virtuous Daughters, January 2009~Volume 8, Number 10

  • 2 lbs. Ground beef
  • 3/4 of a 46-oz. Can vegetable juice
  • 3 cans (15 oz. Each) mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • Black pepper & salt—pour to taste
  • Couple Tbsp. Sugar
  • Season—all seasoning salt (sprinkle to taste)

​Brown ground beef; drain. Pour into pot; add juice, sauce, pepper, salt, and seasoning salt. Bring to a low boil and add vegetables. Turn down heat and simmer for 2-3 hours.
