Line bottom and sides of 8-inch square or 1 ½ quart baking dish with golden vanilla wafers. Combine pudding mix, milk and butter in saucepan. Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a full boil. Remove from heat. Layer slices of banana over vanilla wafers, and then add a layer of pudding. Repeat layers of vanilla wafers, bananas and pudding. Chill until firm, about 3 hours. Serve with whipped cream or topping and garnish with banana slices. Banana pudding may also be layered in individual dessert glasses or dishes. Serves 6 Comments are closed.
