Christmas Gifts & Ideas

Dear Virtuous Daughters,
    This Christmas season try to focus more on the real reason of Christmas. There are many fun ways that you can do this. Here are some things that we have done in the past:

• Last year we tried to really emphasize Christ’s birth on Christmas Day. We did some fun activities like decorating a gingerbread nativity that helped us focus on the true meaning of Christmas. 
• My brother and I try to do a Christmas play every year. These are fun to do and it’s great to get your little siblings involved so they can learn more about the true meaning of Christmas.
• Read the Christmas story on Christmas Day. Play music portraying Jesus’ birth.

Here are some ideas for Christmas gifts:

• I know a girl at our church who has in the past passed out Christmas cookies and m&m’s with her sister. This is a fun and simple gift for your friends at church.
• It’s nice to make all your family members gifts, especially since it is less expensive and more meaningful. 
• Consider making a huge batch of cookies and passing them out to those in your neighborhood. You could also include a few Bible verses about Jesus’ birth and a tract.
